Top 6 of the happiest places in Belarus

Everyone dreams about happiness, wealth and health. Many places are there in the world that are consider relevant and bring good luck to those who visit them. If you come to Belarus you will find these places, too.

These are:
merchant's coin  in Polotsk,
ladie's chest  in Minsk,
cucumber's pocket in Shklov,
chair of astrologer in Mogilev,
girl's umbrella in Minsk,
beaver's chain in Bobruisk.

merchant's coin  in Polotsk
One of the oldest towns in Belarus is Polotsk. It had long been at the crossroads of major trade routes and was a center of international trade.  So the local authority erected a monument to the merchant with a coin. Superstitious tourists strive to rub a coin that will allow them to make a fortune in the future.

ladie's chest  in Minsk
In Minsk, in the Mikhailovsky park, (near the railway station) thete is a monument to a lady. Tourists try to touch the chest of the lady. They believe that it will bring good luck in personal life.

cucumber's pocket in Shklov
Monument to cucumber in a jacket authorities established in the town square. Every guest in Shklov trying to put small bills in one of the pockets of his jacket.

chair of astrologer in Mogilev
Mogilev Stargazer is unique in the world. Around 12 seats are astrologer. Zodiac is on the back of each chair. If you sit in the chair of your zodiac, you'll be lucky all year. You can still lure luck like this: you have to reach out to the  Stargazer's left hand and touch the fingers.

girl's umbrella in Minsk
A girl with an umbrella full of holes is placed near the railway station in  Mikhailovsky park. Legend says: you have once  to touch umbrella and three times to touch its bronze handle. According to superstition, a poor pioneer can be your guardian angel and will not allow you to spend all the money in the Belarusian capital.

beaver's chain in Bobruisk
Bronze beaver weighing 300 kg is located at the entrance to the central market of the city. It is one of the main attractions of the city. It looked like a typical resident of the town of Bobruisk in the early XX century. Superstition says that touching the chain beaver gives unprecedented richness and luck.
